Roc Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream with retinol review

So I was looking for some retinol products at the pharmacy to plump up my life a little, but the only products I could find were from Roc. I hadn't tried Roc before, I always associated it with older ladies. They have a lot of anti wrinkle products, that's why. But since this eye cream had retinol in it, I decided to try it.



Now, I'm not a huge fan of moisturiser in general, especially not eye creams, at night, I've always had bad luck with it. Day cream too thick, eye creams getting in my eye, or making my mascara stain, or making my foundation slip despite setting with powder. Some day creams are simply heavy and oily. I prefer gel textures for that reason.

This eye cream is unfortunately not a gel type, but it does feel quite light, like a lotion. The problem is that is feels like it's burning around my eye. It never seems to dry so I keeps feeling that way, I want to rinse it off. This is definitely not something I would wear at night.

So, maybe, if the texture were a bit better I would wear it, but now it just feels too uncomfortable to wear. Eye cream are supposed to be relaxing and pampering, not torturing and worrying.
