The Emmy nominations were released this morning, and many Flaming Nose favorites got multiple nods. As predicted, our beloved HBO miniseries John Adams got the most, with a total of 23 individual nominations, including Best Actor for Paul Giamatti and Best Actress for Laura Linney. Other Nose favorites in the running were Dexter (Showtime), House (FOX) and Mad Men (AMC). With 16 nominations, Mad Men made history by becoming the first basic cable program so honored. On the comedy side, Flaming Nose favorites Entourage (HBO), The Office (NBC) and 30 Rock (NBC) all have a chance to win the gold statue with wings. Bravo to all for the well deserved accolades. The Flaming Nose bloggers and fans will be watching and saluting this September when television's finest have their day in the sun.
