Hey guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts and some looks that I created using the Tarte Tartelette Toasted palette. For those of you unfamiliar with this product, it's Tarte's 3rd palette in the Tartelette collection. The first palette is all matte shadows. The second is a mixture of matte and shimmers with a more cool toned theme. (You can read my review of the original Tartelette palette HERE) My friend El got me the Tartelette Toasted palette for Christmas and I have had quite a while to experiment and gather my opinion of the product. I've also created a tutorial using this palette along with some other Tarte products. Stay tuned for that. Until then, keep reading to hear my thoughts on this palette!
"A party-in-a-palette (we’re talking 12, all-new warm & cozy shades) to celebrate our tartelettes & the wearable shades they asked for. Lets you mix & match 12 warm, rich eyeshadows (7 wearable mattes & 5 lustrous shimmers), arranged in separate rows to make 3 easy-to-DIY looks. The superblendable Amazonian clay-infused powder formula glides on like a cream, providing longwearing, intense payoff that’s never chalky or patchy."

On to my thoughts:
At first glance, the warm color scheme of this palette is something that I gravitate towards. I prefer warmer orange, bronze, and red tones so I was super excited when this palette was released. These shadows are super soft and pigmented. I also didn't experience any major creasing throughout the day. There is quite a bit of fall out because of how soft the shadows are. That being said, they do apply and blend beautifully on the eyes. For the shimmers, they apply best/most pigmented with your finger but do work nice with a brush as well. The only color I had an issue with was Candle which was very crumbly and didn't apply as nicely as I hoped it would. Other than that, I was really pleased with this palette and loved the looks that I created.
